Appearance & Taste
Small to medium-sized, round to oval. Deep black color with fine, winding wrinkles. Slightly dry yet soft and chewy texture. Flavor is complex with notes of caramel, honey, cinnamon, and a prune-like richness.
Origin & Harvest
Grown exclusively in the Medina region of Saudi Arabia. The date palms are particularly concentrated near the Quba Mosque. The main harvest for the ripe 'Tamr' stage is around August.
