Cultivated in the Dhakki area of Dera Ismail Khan (KPK, Pakistan). It holds the honour of being the first fruit in Pakistan to secure the prestigious Geographical Indication (GI) status. It is considered among the few world-leading cultivars. The ripening period coincides with the stormy monsoon season, which poses challenges for farmers.

Exceptionally high edible-to-non-edible ratio (flesh to pit). Rich in natural sugars and dietary fiber. Provides a good source of energy and essential nutrients.
